Aisling Bea

Aisling Bea is one of the most renowned and rich Comedian that was born 16 March 1984, in Kildare Ireland. The comedian appeared on QI along with Stephen Fry. Aisling Cliodhnadh O'Sullivan (born 16 March 1984) is better known by her stage name Aisling Bea, is a popular Irish actress writer and comedian. After playing bits in a variety of Irish and British television series from 2009 Bea began her professional career as a stand-up comedian in 2011. From 2012 on she was on sitcoms or sketch comedy. After winning an award at the Edinburgh Comedy Awards she began being booked frequently for different panel shows, where she is now a regular. In 2016, and in 2017, she was the team leader for 8 Out of 10 Cats. Additionally, she was participant on 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown. She is the daughter of Brian and Helen O'Sullivan. Sinead, her sister, was also born. She was the only female to be a winner of the show So You Think You're Funny in 2012. Bea is her name in honour of her deceased father. Aisling Cliodhnadh, born April 16, 1984, in Kildare Town, County Kildare. Her father Brian was a vet for horses who died by suicide when she was just three years old. But, she did not learn the cause of death until she was 13 years old. The stage name she chose was Bea as a tribute to her father. She also published an article in The Guardian in 2017 about the suicide of her family members. Bea's mother Helen was also an instructor for jockeys and a former professional jockey, was the one responsible for taking care of her and Sinead. The family was in love with racing and horses. Bea was a child an instructor in the Irish National Stud. From an early age, Bea knew that she did not want to pursue the racing industry. Instead she loved the performing arts.
